Congratulations to Victor and Anastasia, Third in the UK Open Championship Competition

On January 18th of this year, the UK Open Championship was held in Bournmouth, England for the world's professional and amateur competitors. This is one of the three biggest and most prestigious competitions in the UK. Victor and Anastasia came in third in the Professional division. Congratulations to both of them!

 

Foxtrot Workshop

On February 19, 2012, Clubone Studio will be presenting an International style Foxtrot Workshop, taught by Michal and Tiffany. They will teach an entire routine from Bronze to Gold, including techniques and will have time for questions and answers at the end of the workshop. The workshop will go from 11:00am-1:30pm and the cost is $30 per person.

 

Social and American Style Ballroom Classes

Clubone now has more than five American (social) style group classes every week. You can find them on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Tuesday's classes are taught by Robert, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday's classes are taught by Tiffany and Peter. Check our website for the exact times. Come and learn some social dancing that you can practice and use in our parties.

 

New Salsa Group Class Every Tuesday

Clubone now has Salsa classes every Tuesday night at 7pm, taught by Pepe Gonzalez. Pepe is well versed in Salsa dance, aerials, swing dancing, and is the winner of the 2011 Hollywood Lindy Underground Championship. Come and learn some great moves from this new teacher!

 

Saturday Nigh Social Dance Parties in February

Robert will host his Ballroom Blitz Dance Party on February 18th, the third Saturday, at 7:00pm with a group class, American Foxtrot. The Party will be from 8:00-11:00pm. This will be an exciting and great party to start the year off. Come and join us for this event. Admission will be $10 per person.

ClubOne will host the remaining Saturday parties on February 4th, 11th, and 25th at 7:00pm with Beginning/Intermediate group lessons of East Coast Swing, ChaChaCha, and Rumba respectively. Admission for the party including the lesson will be $5 per person.

Our Dances

We provide dance classes in ballroom (waltz, tango, foxtrot, quickstep, viennese waltz), latin (cha-cha, rumba, samba, paso doble, jive, swing, mambo, bolero), and nightclub dances (merengue, salsa, nightclub two-step). You'll enjoy the chance to dance socially or learn to be a part of the competitive ballroom dance scene! We serve the central Orange County area including the cities of Costa Mesa, Irvine, Newport Beach, and Huntington Beach!
